Whitson Elementary is a K-3 elementary school with all-day kindergarten. There are 3 kindergarten classrooms, 4 first grade classrooms, 3 second grade classrooms and 4 third grade classrooms.

Our building opens every morning at 7:45 AM. Breakfast is served in the gym from 7:45 until 8:15. Classes begin at 8:15 AM. Our school day ends at 2:55 PM. In most weeks throughout the year, we have a Wednesday 1:30 Early Release.

In addition to being in the classroom with a general education teacher, students also participate in Physical Education, Music, Enrichment and Library. Each class runs for a 45 minute period on a rotating weekly schedule.
