Reminder: Hybrid B group in-person learning today.
REMINDER: The City of White Salmon is shutting off the water system for repairs today and has asked the district to move to remote learning. The district plans to move our Thursday in-person learning for our B group students to Friday. This will help us maintain consistency in meeting the learning needs for our in-person B group students.
Weekly meal delivery and pick-up will take place today, March 4th this week.
White Salmon Valley School District Update
The City of White Salmon is shutting off the water system for repairs on Thursday, March 4th and has asked the district to move to remote learning that day. The district plans to move our Thursday in-person learning for our B group students to Friday. This will help us maintain consistency in meeting the learning needs for our in-person B group students. We understand there may be scheduling conflicts for some families and thank you for your understanding.
As we will be rescheduling student learning, and transportation needs will shift for the week, the weekly meal delivery and pick-up will take place on Thursday, March 4th this week.

Meals for the week will be available for pick-up only on Friday, due to the weather. Meal pick-up is located at the central kitchen at Henkle Middle School. Meal pick-up is available from 6:00 AM- 10:00 AM Friday, February 19, 2021.
White Salmon Families:
Due to the uncertainty of the winter weather forecast for tomorrow, Thursday, February 11, 2021 the district will move to full remote learning for the day. There will be no in-person, small groups, A List Adventures, or extra-curricular scheduled for tomorrow.

WSVSD Families - In the event the district calls for a snow day, all in-person Hybrid classes and small groups will be cancelled. All students will follow the distance learning schedule, or participate in the snow-day activities provided by their teacher.

Our district continues to monitor the Klickitat Health Metrics to determine our reopening dates. We will share updated reopening information with you on Monday, January 25th.

Reminder: With the upcoming non-school days (January 15 and 18), student meals intended for January 14, and 19-21, will be available for pick-up only on Thursday, January 14th from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Kitchen.
Regular meal delivery and pickup will resume on Friday, January 22.

Family Update:
Our superintendent, Dr. Lewis, has several meetings this week at both the state and local level to gather more guidance on the district's reopening plan. Our administrative team is meeting tomorrow and will be sending out communication at the district level by Friday afternoon.
Reminder: student meals for January 4-7 will be available for pick up only, tomorrow, January 4th at the kitchen from 6:00 am - 10:00 am.
Have a safe winter vacation! We will return to Distance Learning January 4th.
