Right at School

Dear WSVSD Families,

We understand the importance of after-school programs for some families.  We are launching a new partnership this fall for the 2022-23 school year that will bring a high-quality after-school option to our community.  Right at School is a nationally recognized after school program provider that will be offering care after school for our Whitson and WPSIS students, and engaging them in a curriculum to continue developing skills like critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, leadership, and more after the dismissal bell at school.

For those families who wish to participate in this program, it will be available from dismissal until 5:30 PM every day school is in session.  Right at School has flexible care schedules  from just 1-day per week to 5-days per week and a drop-in option care with a punch card.  They will also be available on breaks and non-schools days.  Best of all, their pricing is affordable for all families.

You are invited to attend a virtual Family Information Night hosted by Right at School on Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 6:30-7:30 pm.  Their team will provide an overview of their programs, answer questions, and interact with you.

For families that use A-List Adventures that after school program will be continuing next school year.  The new program will operate parallel to it.  For families that previously used Cub Club, which has been not operating since the pandemic began and will not be returning to our schools, the Right at School organization will be in lieu of this after school program.

We encourage you to visit Right at School’s website, www.rightatschool.com, for more information about their organization and dynamic curriculum.  We look forward to this new and exciting partnership to provide our community with after school care that is an enriching experience for your children.

Sincerely,
Dr. Sean McGeeney
