The White Salmon Fire Department, DNR out of Goldendale, and Husum Fire Department came out to speak with our 3rd grade classes about Fire Safety. They talked about what to do if there's a fire in your home- "Get low, Stay low. Get out, Stay out. Call 911 and tell an adult."
We also got to go outside and climb through the fire engine, and check out all the cool tools they have. We even had a special guest come with them, Smokey the Bear!
